No R2D2 Video Effect in Leopard’s iChat

Just heard that the R2D2 iChat Video effect is not making it to final build of Apple’s Leopard 10.5. Dang, I was looking forward to the stupidity that would ensue. Nerds are saddened. I’m sure Apple will never give an answer of why.

I’m waiting for Jared to jump in and explain this one. But yes, Apple has been anti-freedom lately. As long as they are pro-we-want-you-to-crap-your-pants-over-a-gadget-as-cool-as-the-iphone I guess I’m still cool with them. But we all know who the real Apple zealot is…
