am i gonna have to disagree with you again? the nature windows part is cool (and explains why he’s been making the music he has), but the actual room is very cool and blank canvasy. i definitely would have a hard time working in that room, it just makes me want to go outside and play. plus, all those buttons and just a single chair? i don’t buy it; you know he has “people” to push the buttons for him.
the room is very cold, not cool.
to you. I like the sci-fi meets nature vibe.
There’s room for more chairs. I’m sure they pack the room out with their posse, this is minimal for the photo I’m sure.
Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool, too. Of course there will be more people when recording is actually happening, but the single chair definitely makes for a cooler picture.
I’d say it would be a pretty inspiring setting for creativity, but I guess that would vary from person to person.
Yes! I have that chair, I’m halfway to Gabriel.
here’s the the site link, clink on real world studio to see a slide show

of course “for me,” i littered my comment with i statements.
Would be nice to see P.Gabriel at this console… perhaps would enliven it. As is presented, appears somewhat stark, cold; Saturian… I remember some of P.Gabriels sounds - pretty cool, relaxing music!
p.s… Mom and Dad said HI! ~ ; )
That’s a great story. Waiting for more.
that photo is the studio after the housecleaners left. this is what it looks like in action…
