   Wonder what the macbook does compared to the powerbook. And I would also love to see specs from the pro apps were it really counts. Might wait just for that unless wine is released soon for the intel mac which is going to be worth it in itself.

   I don’t know much about Wine, except the kind I get at Trader Joe’s. Have to check that out. It’s funny, I think with Apple releasing these so early without any real software for them yet most early adopters will be waiting months to really see the benefits of this new chip. When is Adobe releasing Universal Binaries of their apps?

   I thought that on TWIT they were saying that it was “way” faster, after playing with it hands on…

   I don’t think they’ll have worthwhile specs on a lot of the “pro” apps until they can run them without emulation, because it wouldn’t really be much of a comparison.

   I don’t care about emulated specs on the pro apps, that’s silly.

   Everyone has said that the macbooks were a lot snappier in UI perfomance. But it could have just been a scam.
